Duration Station app for iPhone and iPad

Duration Station brings date manipulation into the real world with your own personal data that is only saved securely on your device. This allows users to quickly see how long until retirement (UK State retirement), and what ages you were when landmark dates in your life happened. It shows a precise Years/Months/Days readout for all features and gives a duration between then and now.

With date duration features, it was possible to add some amusement to the app with a selection of famous people alive and dead in an external database. Users can now look up how old certain historic, criminal, musical, sporting etc. people would be today. How long since they died and some brief summary of why they were famous.
